We moved to the D.C. area because I was offered a contract job as a web developer in Kensington, Maryland with a small design firm. Shortly after I began the job, my boss found out he didn't get any of the three contracts he had hired me for. So I only worked four days, and he told me not to come back.
I went into a total panic, and started applying for about one hundred jobs a day. I got a few temporary web development gigs, which gave me about forty hours of work spread out over three weeks.
Finally, some dude found my resume on the internet, and scored me an interview with Marriott. I landed a full time job, and start June 28th. I'm going to be a Web Quality Assurance Analyst, which is...I don't know. Something to do with computers. I plan on clocking in, hiding in the bathroom all day, and then leaving.
So that's basically it. My entire existence was taken up by job searching. Now that I'm done searching, yet still not actually working, I do nothing but eat hot dogs and play video games. Life is nearly perfect.
